Ryde Scout Group was started in 1915 and between then and now it comprised 3 groups, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ryde. Those 3 groups eventually amalgamated to form one group - Ryde Scout Group.
In 2005, the Group celebrated their 90th birthday, with celebrations attended by NSW state member for Ryde, John Watkins.
